Blue + Gingham for Spring

One of my favorite Spring Trends is Gingham. It is a fresh update from the winter Plaids. Blue is also trending for Spring, making it a softer/brighter transition from the winter blacks. This Blue + Gingham blouse is the perfect Spring combo! I love the length of this top because you can pair it with leggings and boots. I would also wear it tucked in with shorts, and sandals or flats. I paired my Gingham top with cowboy boots, perfect for a Country Concert or Rodeo! I see endless potential on how you could style this top! We received a skirt in my boutique today that I think would be adorable to pair this with, stay tuned for my take on that! What are your thoughts on Gingham + Blue?  I myself have never been a 'blue' person, but it's slowly growing on me! Fashion is all about taking risks and being yourself!

Vest's are a great layering piece that you can wear Fall-Spring. Layer up in the winter, or throw it over a lighter top/casual dress in the spring, to keep warm on those cooler nights. Cozy Up In a Boyfriend Cardigan

Three things happened on February 1st: I turned 30, Super Bowl Sunday, and a snow storm we went from no snow on the ground, to approximately 9 inches here in Eastern Iowa! All in all, it was a pretty amazing birthday filled with friends, family and alcoholic beverages who helped me celebrate turning the big 3-0! Now that the excitement of the weekend is over and we are stuck with way to much snow, I am ready to keep cozy in my boyfriend cardigan.

I love this boyfriend cardigan because it is warm + cozy with a relaxed fit. Some day's I just feel like dressing down, but it is hard when I am running a boutique.
