Happy 2nd Birthday Spotlight!

July 17 marked a special date! Two years ago, my mom and I took a huge leap of faith and opened our dream business! Our goal was to open a boutique in our small downtown of Cedar Falls, IA that had a fun, trendy, sophisticated, big city feel with affordable pricing! What started as a dream, turned into a reality! From the idea, to the location and 7 months later opening our doors! Well... lets just say it wasn't quite that easy. We had a lot of stress, sweat and tears along the way, but it was all worth it! Spotlight Style Boutique & Salon opened its doors July 17, 2012! Prior to opening, I was a full-time hairstylist and didn't want to give up that dream, so we added a small salon in the back.
