Mad for Plaid

Can you believe it? It is officially September! Which means, cooler temps, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Football Games, and Fall Fashion. One of this seasons hottest trends is Plaid. From skirts, dresses and tops, plaid has been seen all over the runways and fashion magazines. This menswear inspired look can be styled so many ways.

I LOVE this BB Dakota Navy/Black Plaid dress we recently received and almost sold out at my boutique. The color combination is so rich and sophisticated, and the fact that you can wear this with leggings and boots is even better! I've added a belt which helps play up my shape, and a pair of little black wedge booties//similar. Throw on a black fur vest and a pair of heels for a fun evening look. There is so much you can do in making this the perfect day to night outfit by just changing your jewelry and accessories. All it takes is a little inspiration and experimentation!
